Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common women cancer. The more women gets older, the more they are at risk of having breast cancer as well. Thus, every woman should undergo breast cancer screening test with a mammogram annually.

  • Women aged over 40 years old
  • We should undergo the screening test at least once a year
  • The proper time to undergo the screening test is 7 – 10 days after the menstrual period.

What is Mammogram?

Mammogram is an X-ray image of the breasts. During a mammogram, the breasts will be compressed between the surfaces. However, the doctor might recommend us an ultrasound after the mammogram to diagnose and confirm the result, and most importantly for a more precise diagnosis.

Thus, women aged over 20 years old should check their own breasts by themselves once a month, and women aged over 40 years old should undergo the mammogram with breasts and armpits ultrasound annually.
